“Pilut” is dedicated to the “Clariphonics Clarinet Choir”, which commissioned the piece for their annual charity concert. It was first performed by three members of the choir (Christian Klüh, Tobias Mathes & Bettina Hüttl) during the concert in 2020. The donations were given to the “Förderkreis Brasilien e.V.”, which supports aid projects in the slums of Brazil.

The entire choir also played a new arrangement of “Gear World” later in the program.
