The idea for Blue Void came to me one night while lying in bed when, suddenly, like a fever dream, I felt as though I were falling. That sensation transformed into the feeling of swaying on the waves of an ocean. I began imagining the sound of the water, and I felt myself becoming one with it.
This is the blue void – an infinite ocean in a time before existence. Though calm and unthreatening, it is a completely unstable environment: empty and lonely. Yet somehow, within it, life emerges.
