The story of Tanthali:
“Once a thriving town amidst the Black Valley, Tanthali was a victim of its own riches. With its once-abundant coal reserves depleted by a steam-powered society, the valley lay in ruins, leaving its people bereft of their cherished possessions and dreams.”
This piece was composed in 2022. It was commissioned by the Playful ensemble and was first performed at the festivities for the 200th anniversary of the county of Fulda.

Die Geschichte von Tanthali:
“Tanthali, einst eine blühende Stadt im Schwarzen Tal, wurde ein Opfer seines eigenen Reichtums. Nachdem die einst reichhaltigen Kohlereserven durch eine dampfbetriebene Gesellschaft ausgebeutet worden waren, lag das Tal in Trümmern, und die Menschen wurden ihrer wertvollen Besitztümer und Träume beraubt.”
Dieses Stück wurde im Jahr 2022 komponiert. Es ist eine Auftragskomposition des Playful Ensembles und wurde bei den Feierlichkeiten zum 200-jährigen Jubiläum des Landkreises Fulda uraufgeführt.
